Meals

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. (Psalms 34:8)

If you (or a loved one) find yourself needing for the first time to plan, shop for, cook, or order your own meals, you’ll find these resources helpful.

This section offers an overview of a qualities-based approach to thinking about food. In addition, it provides numerous ways to get and enjoy daily meals. Remember: it can be a great idea to order or make more than you need, divide the leftovers into meal-size portions, and freeze them for a quick future dinner (or lunch)!

  • For cooking your own meals — easy-fix recipes and grocery lists.
  • For ordering in — ready-to-eat meal delivery services, local restaurant delivery companies, and meal-kit delivery services (where the ingredients and recipes are delivered and you do the cooking).
  • For a fun approach to cooking — creative ideas for cooking with others.

In special circumstances, eating can be easier when attention is given to creating a smooth texture. To assist with this, we’ve included an outline for modifying foods. And finally, there’s a link to some helpful kitchen tools that make meal preparation simpler and quicker.
