If you are happy at home, but need occasional or temporary help with an activity, there are many care services available. This list consists of descriptions taken from a few organizations that may be able to help — and there are many more. Some are national and others regional, so explore the websites to see the areas each serves. As always, it’s very important to thoroughly research these services to determine which is a good fit for the need.
Please note that almost all of these services require some sort of “initial assessment” of the care needs and may be medically-oriented to some extent. We are sharing these providers because we are aware of cases where Christian Scientists have drawn on these or similar resources when a Christian Science nurse was not available, and some personal care was needed.
