Overview
The Christian Science Monitor is a globally-respected, award-winning newspaper, published in a daily online edition and as a weekly magazine. Mary Baker Eddy established The Monitor in 1908 “to injure no man, but to bless all mankind.”
In that spirit, The Monitor views world events as starting points for positive conversations . . . and effective prayer. The editorial staff puts it this way: “We want to be so focused on progress that together we can provide a credible and constructive counter-narrative to the hopelessness, anger, and fear that’s so prevalent in the news.” Subscriptions are available for online, print, or a combination of both.
