Overview
Go to this website and request a volunteer Elder Helper for car rides. This big-hearted service helps seniors find a local volunteer to provide a ride. The service requests a $50/month contribution (to help pay for administration costs). Helpers are available to supply aid in other ways as well: shopping, cooking, reading, and more.
(To avoid confusion, Elder Helper is a volunteer organization found in many communities. Eldercare Locator is a federal program — they are different programs.)
